Our Beginnings
Ms. Gimenia Palmer, Head Teacher/Owner of My Child’s Montessori, has taught the Montessori method for over 20 years. She first started teaching after high school in her home country, the Dominican Republic. Ms. Gimenia then came to the U.S. to learn English and study abroad. Here she continued to teach utilizing the Montessori method. She started the school three years ago in August 2019 under the name Mi Pequeno Montessori and has been growing ever since! Since then, her school has rebranded to My Child’s Montessori.
